Robbers turned good citizens

Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani was a saint of highest rank. During his childhood, his pious mother decided to send him Baghdad to seek knowledge. Before his departure, she stitched forty gold coins in the sewings of his shirt as provisions of journey. She bid him farewell with a golden piece of advice; ‘’to speak only the truth in all circumstances ‘’. Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani set out his journey with a caravan. It did so happen that when the caravan was on its move to the destination, it had to stayed in a jungle. In the way passing by jungle, he decided to spend night in jungle. So the travelers slept in jungle. When the travelers were sleeping in the forest, a gang of robbers fell upon them and deprived them of all their possessions ruthlessly. One robber came to Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani too, for the purpose of robbery asked him that if he have anything in possession? And got the reply that there were forty coins, but he found nothing after full search. Then the noble and pious boy told the robber that he had those forty gold coins sewed in the sewings of his shirt. That robber got amazed and took the boy to his leader, who ordered to unsew his shirt for those coins. When forty coins were found there, sewed in boy’s shirt, the head of gang asked him why he had not told a lie to save his possessions, as he could do it easily without any detection. The little pious boy replied that my mother had advised me to speak only the truth always. The honesty of boy Impressed the leader a lot and he repented on his sins and all violations of Divine orders. He along with, his companions gave up robbery at once gave returned the robbed possessions of travellers and asked forgiveness from Allah Almighty for his bad deeds. Thus, all of them turned good citizens and became pious.

Moral:

1: Always speak truth.

2: Never tell a lie.

3: Self remorse is a light-house to right path.

4: Good , sometime, comes out of evil.

Union is strength

Once there was a farmer. He had three lazy sons. They often quarreled with one another. This practice caused to increase the worries of their father. He was gloomy and sad. He fell ill and was at death bed.
